If you are experiencing difficulty with the Mobile App accepting a check deposit, please consider the following:
If you receive an error message regarding your endorsement be sure to sign the back of the check with your name, today's date and the phrase "for mobile deposit only at Eglin FCU." "For mobile deposit only at Eglin FCU" must be written on the check clearly. Be sure not to write, stamp or sign below the line that instructs you not to do so.
If the front or back of the check is denied it may be a result of poor image quality. Try rotating the check 180 degrees (if your endorsement is on the right, rotate the check so that it is on the left and vice-versa). It is also important to ensure there is sufficient ambient lighting, the check should be well lit but with no hard shadows. If there are any creases or wrinkles on the check do your best to smooth them out.
If the check is denied or you receive an "SSO Error" message, it may be that your connection is poor and there was a disconnect some time between logging in and attempting to perform a mobile deposit. To avoid this, be sure you have a good connection when attempting a mobile deposit. It may also help to turn off your wifi or cellular data, whichever signal is weaker.
When depositing a check through the app, it will prompt you to select a suffix and displays a list of available suffix types (checking, savings, etc). If you have cross-account authorization with another member, we recommend nicknaming your suffixes to avoid confusion when depositing a check through the app, as it can sometimes be difficult to determine which suffix belongs to who.
