Yes, the Credit Union offers Cashier’s Checks. We also offer Credit Union Checks (also called Official Checks or Teller Checks) that may be issued up to the available balance in a member’s account. Both Cashier’s Checks and Credit Union Checks are treated as guaranteed funds because they are drawn on the Credit Union’s account. Funds are transferred from the member’s account to the Credit Union’s account, and the check is made payable to a specified recipient. Both types of checks offer convenient payment options when personal checks or other forms of payment aren’t accepted by a payee. Cashier’s Checks tend to be the preferred payment method in brokerage or real estate transactions. Up to three Credit Union Checks can be requested each month at no cost for members. A fee is charged for Cashier’s Checks. Both Cashier’s Checks and Credit Union Checks are free for seniors. Eglin Federal Credit Union only offers domestic wires and doesn't offer international wire services. Wires may, however, be sent to U.S. military installations that are located in a foreign country. These wires must be delivered to a financial institution located on the U.S. military base and funds must be in U.S. dollars.
We have many local ATMs along with thousands of other ATMs in our surcharge-free network that accept cash or check deposits 24/7. We also provide safe, convenient depository boxes at all branch locations for making cash deposits after hours and on weekends. Funds deposited in an ATM may not be available for immediate withdrawal. Please refer to your financial institution’s rules governing funds availability for details.
Can I wire funds internationally? We only offer domestic bank wires and do not provide international wire services. Therefore, we do not have an IBAN number or a SWIFT code.
