Wire Funds Electronically To an EFCU Account

Incoming wire transfers may be deposited to a savings, checking or money market account. Incoming international wires can only be accepted if the sending foreign financial institution uses a U.S. correspondent as a payable through institution. To initiate an incoming bank wire, contact the sending financial institution. Provide them the EFCU account number and suffix type you wish to receive the funds, the name as it appears on the account, EFCU’s routing and transit number:

Incoming funds are processed upon receipt and posted the same day, Cut off time is 4:30pm Central Time. There is no EFCU fee to receive a wire transfer; however, the sending financial institutions may charge you a fee. Incoming international wires may incur additional fees from the correspondent bank. Wired funds credited to your EFCU savings, checking or money market account may be transferred to other accounts, such as to purchase a share certificate, to an IRA, or to make loan payments. Wire Funds Electronically From an EFCU Account

EFCU will only wire funds from your account to other US financial institutions or to domestic Western Union locations. You may wire funds internationally by clicking here Western Union.

Outgoing wire transfers can be made from a savings, checking or money market account. To initiate an outgoing bank wire, the primary or joint owner may visit any local branch with proper ID or contact us at 850-862-0111 or 1-800-367-6159 ext 1402.

Depending on the type of wire to be sent (see below) provide us with the receiving individual or company name, receiving financial institution name, any correspondent financial institution name, receiving account number, type account, routing and transit number(s), city, or state.

Types of Outgoing Wire Transfers:
  • Domestic Bank Wires - $20.00 fee - No dollar limit - Cut off time 3:00pm Central time.

  • Western Union - Fees vary - $8,000 dollar limit - Cut off time 4:00pm Central time.
