Who qualifies?
Minors qualify for membership if they meet one or more of the following criteria:- Live with or are immediately related to an Eglin FCU member.
- Live, work, attend school or worship within Eglin FCU’s geographic field of membership.
- Are dependents of active or retired military personnel who work in, are assigned to, or are receiving services from Eglin AFB, Hurlburt Field, Duke Field, Camp Rudder or 7th Special Forces Group.

Information for the Minor:
- Social Security/Tax ID Number (must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident alien)
- Date of birth
- Physical address and mailing address (if different)

An approved U.S. Government-issued photo ID with signature for the Minor and the adult Joint Owner. Approved U.S. Government IDs include:
- Driver’s license or learner’s permit issued in the U.S. or by a territory of the U.S.
- Identification card issued in the U.S. or by a territory of the U.S.
- U.S. Military ID — retired or dependent
- Civilian identification card
- Contractors identification card
- U.S. passport book
- Permanent resident alien card
- If the Minor does not have a valid U.S. Government issued photo ID with signature, their Social Security card and birth certificate must be provided.
- Parent or legal guardian must sign the Substitute Form W-9 on the Membership Application, if applicable.
- $5 minimum to open a Regular Share Savings and establish membership. $5 represents one par value share ownership in the Credit Union that must be maintained in the Regular Share Savings.
To establish membership for a Minor, please visit any Eglin FCU branch.
Minors cannot apply for Eglin FCU membership online.
