Courtesy Pay Authorization for Debit Card POS Transactions
Federally mandated changes to the Electronic Funds Transfer Act, requires members to Opt-In if they wish to have the option of Courtesy Pay coverage on Debit Card Point of Sale (POS) purchases. Checking accounts less than 30 days old are not eligible for Courtesy Pay. This service is available only to accounts in good standing, and at the discretion of EFCU.
Effective June 1, 2010 if funds are not available for Debit Card POS purchases and the member has not completed an Opt-In Authorization, the transactions will be denied.
To Opt In
- Mail your written request to us in person at any branch location
- By Phone 1-850-862-0111 or 1-800-367-6159 extension 1402
- Go to www.eglinfcu.org and log into Home Branch, Preferences
Members may use any of the above options to revoke their Opt In authorization at any time.
